  1. 20th January Village Hall 7 to 9:30
    George Writers Group Evening of readings
    Sinon Brett's George Writers will read some of their short pieces, All are welcome. Price £3 per person to include a glass of something and canapes during the interval.   2. 2nd February 7:30 in the Village Hall
    Shuffleboard
    Shufffleboard in the Village hall, organized by Heather Birch. Tickets are £12 and include a Fish and Chip supper, bring your own drinks. Please let heather know ASAP how many tickets you need and what your food choices might be (fishcakes, chicken or sausages). Tickets available from Julie Tester 883053 or Heather Birch 882839
  3. 15th February 7:30 Village Hall
    Burpham and the postcard valley Trail (Village Hall)
    An Illustrated talk by Tony Pratt Local historian Tony will use old postcards and modern video to explore Burpham and nearby villages along the river Arun. Just turn up. Free entry, charitable donation encouraged. If you don't enjoy walking or driving at night, we may be able to arrange a lift - contact Trevor Cooper tc@trevorcooper.net 01903 885349.

    Winter Village Walk from Village hall 10:00
    Village Walk Saturday 19th January: Start Village Hall, 10.00am. Everyone welcome, including well-behaved dogs. Back by 1.00pm latest. Feel free just to turn up, but if possible so that we know rough numbers please contact Trevor Cooper on tc@trevorcooper.net 01903 885349

    Family History Afternoons: Burpham Country House
    Look up your ancestors online from census information. Sessions are free and with tea and cake, but places are limited, so contact Jackie on 882160 or jackiepenticost@gmail.com to book a place
  6. 26th February 2-5 p.m. Burpham Country House
    Village Cookbook: recipe session
    Steve Penticost is planning to create a village cookbook with great family recipes. He'd like to gather recipes and the stories that went with them, then he'll try out the recipes in in order to photograph the results.
