Village Events

    Christmas Crafty session
    Christmas Crafty Session: Friday 16th November 2.00pm – 4.30pm in St Mary’s with and tea and cake.
  2. 8th December St Mary's 11a.m.-3pm.
    Village Christmas Fayre
    We are planning a Christmas Fayre as a team effort of the village committee and the PCC. Donations of Christmas food goodies welcome for the produce stall. There will be a small number of gift stalls, tombola and a ‘Christmas gift making table’ for children and parents to enjoy. We will be serving a ploughman’s lunch with mulled wine, alongside teas and coffees from 12 noon to 2.30pm. We will be asking for donations of bottles, etc. for the Tombola and for our produce stall - also if anyone would like to have a stall at the Fayre, or know of anyone else, then please let us know. All proceeds will be shared between the Village Playground fund and the church Fabric Fund managed by the PCC. Heather 882839 or Celia 07807 899119 celia.woodruff1@gmail.com

    Good Companions social
    Christmas get together Friday 30th November @ Stopples Barn at 7.00pm: Mulled wine, mince pies & music, by kind invitation from Talitha & Neal Brewer. RSVP
  4. 1st December 7:30 p.m. Race Night
    Race Night in Village Hall to raise funds for Cricket Club and Playground Fund
    Come and join us at the Race Night. Great fun for both children and adults alike. Bring your preferred tipple and nibbles. Proceeds will be split equally between the cricket club and the playground fund. There is no admission charge, but we need to know how many we will be, so if you are hoping to attend, please contact me by phone 882823, or e mail, kevin.foster60@sky.com.

    Christmas Tree Lighting at the George
    You are all invited to our annual lighting (see attached flyer) where mulled wine and mince pies will be served. The usual competition to guess the number of lights will be held. Our thanks to Bill and Rosie Tustin for providing the tree and lights.
